Kat Penkin weaves alt-pop melodies with soulful R&B nuances, her emotive vocals and compelling storytelling, offering a glimpse of what's on the horizon. Her songs delve into themes of love, feelings of invincibility, and self-discovery, providing brutally honest reflections on the shared struggles of her generation. 

Originally from a small town in Perth, Western Australia, Kat's journey led her to London in her early 20s, where she documented the challenges of coming of age in a bustling city filled with heartbreak, self-doubt, and feeling dismissed by society.

In 2020, she independently released her debut single, 'F*ck Fast,' and her 2021 debut EP 'Checkmate', and has since garnered support from Radio 1 (UK) and found placement on prominent playlists like New Music Friday UK, Feel Good, and Fresh Touch for her other releases.

Now, Kat enters a new chapter in her career, collaborating with established producers in Sweden and the UK to bring her fresh sound and creative vision to life. With dedicated studio work behind her, Kat is set to share exciting new projects in 2024.
